Since the election I've been trying to have conversations with people I know voted for Obama and understand why he was an acceptable choice. It's an interesting discussion. I still can't reconcile the notion that millions of Catholics voted for a radically pro-abortion candidate. My youngest kids came home the day before the election and said their class voted 80% for Obama, at a Catholic gradeschool! And of course, they did as well. Before they talked to dad. The next day they went in and convinced at least one other person to vote for McCain. Kids understand abortion.
